Looking for match/safety schools?

So I'm just starting my junior year of high school this year, and though it might be a bit early, I wanted to start getting an idea of which schools I wanna apply to. I have a vague idea for reach schools (Ivies, Stanford, etc.) though I haven't figured out which ones I might like more than others. For my safety, I'm sure I can get into my state school. But as far as matches in between reaches and safeties, I have no idea where to start.
For some background info, so far I have
a 4.0 unweighted gpa
5's on 5 AP tests with 6 more coming this year
800 on bio sat 2, 790 on chem sat 2
a dedicated ec that I participate in for 12-15 hr/week for 9-10 years now
I would really appreciate some suggestions as to what "level" might be apprpriate for match schools to apply to.

What type of school are you looking for? What area of the country? What qualities look appealing in a school? How much can your family afford?

I’m not completely sure of what kind of vibe I want from a school, but I’m pretty sure I would prefer a mid-large school as opposed to a small one. I would also prefer a school near a city or town, though I don’t think I care as much where it is geographically. I’m not decided on a major, but so far I’m thinking pre-med and I’d prefer an active school with lots of clubs and activities. My family is pretty low-income; my mother expects large financial aid packages. Sorry, forgot to mention all this in the post ^

Here’s a list of various schools that may fit your criteria: university of north carolina wilmington, college of charleston, binghamton university, university of miami, RPI, clemson university, lehigh university, RIT, Northwestern, Cornell

thanks! I’ll go check those out

I’m not disagreeing with Ranza’s list. it’s a good one. BUT if you have the test scores to complement the 4.0, like something 1450-1530, some other matches: Tulane, Rochester, Brandeis, BC, Bucknell, Case Western, Emory. I’m curious about that EC you’ve been dedicated to for a decade. Could make a good essay and something that could get you into a reach. Study hard for the SAT or ACT and take it sooner rather than later.

I definitely agree with @jkeil911 that if you do as well on the SAT or ACT as you have been on all your other tests, you definitely have a shot at more competitive schools.
