Looking for Small Colleges in Urban areas

Redhat had good advice, you need to clarify with your parents what they really will pay, do some net price calculators, FAFSA4caster, etc. If you won’t get much need based aid you might need to focus on schools where your stats will give you merit, and those schools do exist. There are catholic schools besides Georgetown. Westcoast possibilities are Gonzaga, Seattle U, U of Portland, LMU, San Diego.

My son just completed his first year at Trinity and loved it. The professors are terrific and with small classes you really get to know each other. My son is a computer science major but he is in Turkey at the moment helping his nautical archaeology professor with her research. The campus is unlike any other campus I have seen. It is built on an old quarry with modern buildings and great landscaping (beautiful Henry Moore sculpture on campus). Nicest dorms we have seen. San Antonio offers a lot to do, Austin is close by, the Texas hill country is surprisingly pretty and affords good weekend fun (tubing, hiking) and the students seem to get down to the Texas coast on occasion.
