Hi,

I am looking for suggestions on studying abroad or going abroad in general and I was hoping someone might know where I could find such information or personally know such information. Websites... etc. would be helpful.

I am going to enter my senior year of college and I haven't studied abroad - which is really ironic since I go to a school that has hundreds of international students and a lot of abroad program. The problem is my major is engineering, which makes it harder (at least I think so). I can't do an abroad program this entire year because I have a graduation requirement to complete a year long design program. This means I have to stay in my own school and work with a group to finish this project.

My school DOES have an abroad program for engineering, but I missed it last semester because I took too many of the offered courses in the abroad program there.

Honestly, I get told a lot by people in their late 20s to go abroad now before a job ties you down and you can't. I don't want to miss out on a unique opportunity because I have personally never been outside of the US. I think my best bet is my summer after graduation and I was hoping to do SOMETHING abroad where I could meet other college students and make interesting experiences. Perhaps an internship abroad? Or perhaps obtaining my master's abroad - I know a friend who obtained her masters from ETH Zurich.

Any advice, comments or suggestions would be nice.
