Considering Case for theater…
Does anyone here have any experience with the program?
Thanks!
The CWRU Theatre program works with Cleveland Playhouse one of the oldest and most established professional theatres in the country, and has connections to New York Theater. There is a masters of fine arts in theatre with Cleveland Playhouse but I think undergrads have similar opportunities:

On Face book they have a page, search for “CaseCPHMFA”
Here is the history of Eldred Theater on campus:

There are good undergrad theater scholarships, four full rides, for majors and two $10,000 scholarships for minors.

There is a new performing arts center, that is shared with the music department. Be sure to visit this unique space, just west of campus, it opened in the fall of 2015:

@bopper Thanks so much for this helpful information. You’re amazing!
Mr roommate is a theatre major and he likes it a lot! There are a couple good theatre student groups on campus as well. There is a large contingent of theatre kids here.
@bestcasescenario That’s great news! More proof that Case is way more than engineering…
CWRU continues to invest in theatre venues, see this new addition planned for the Maltz Performing Arts Center:
