Looking for thoughts/advice

Okay folks, here's the scoop. I got my undergraduate degree in history, but am planning to applying to MLIS programs. I was thinking it over, though, and was wondering just exactly what sort of caliber of program I could get into were I to pursue further study in history. I wouldn't just be doing it for lack of anything better to do, as I'm pretty intrigued by MLIS, but I did enjoy my research as an undergrad and I think I'd probably have a good time taking it to the next level. So here's my profile. Undergrad GPA at University of Illinois-Chicago was 3.38, 3.9+ in my major. Not proficient in any foreign languages other than my Latin minor. My chief research interest is in the social history of mental illness in the U.S./Britain, with particular emphasis on PTSD, so a school would have to be well-suited faculty-wise to aid me in that work. I have my initial research written up in the form of my senior paper, which received high marks and would serve as my writing sample were a program to request that of me. I took the GRE and scored 710V/730Q/5.5A. As far as geographical location goes . . .I'm from the Midwest so a regional school would be nice, but I'd be willing to relocate just about anywhere for a program that could offer me a strong education and opportunity.

So, any thoughts on just how high I can jump? There's an awful lot of info out there, but I thought I'd solicit some advice from some people who might already be in the know about programs and admissions. And just to note . . .I'm totally aware of how flooded the field is already, and I'd admit that I'd be unlikely to change course on my original plans in any case. At the same time, I'm very, very good and it's never a bad thing to check out your options.

Here's a listing of ALA (American Library Association) accredited programs. Take a peek around their site. They have a decent amount information which you may find helpful.
