Loomis Chaffee??

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I recently sent an email to the Loomis Chaffee admissions office asking them about setting up a skype/telephone interview because I could not make a visit on campus. It seems they assumed I was an international applicant and told me that they only schedule skype/telephone interviews after my whole application is finished however, interviews are not required for the application and will still be considered complete without one. Since I am a domestic applicant, do I have to still complete a skype interview or is that only optional once I finish my application?</p>

<p>As a domestic applicant, you should be able to have an interview before you submit the paper application. I would email or call to clarify. I think they even have AOs who travel to the West coast and Midwest doing events, some as part of TSAO and some separately.</p>

<p>Last year, after some initial confusion with administrative staff in the LC admissions office, we eventually got beyond that level and the actual Admissions Officers (and faculty and admin) were on top of their games. Pelicanchild is a 9th grader this year and really enjoying it.</p>
