LOR Am I being paranoid?

I am a little worried about my LORs. On Wednesday I emailed my recommenders my statement and the info they had requested from me to be able to write the letter. None of them has replied, and I checked on my application and only one of them has registered to submit the letter. I re- sent the registration email yesterday but they haven't registered yet. Am I being paranoid?? Should I email them again to remind them?? I emailed them what they needed but I didn't get a reply. I am extremely worried now. If I don't get an answer or if they don't register by Monday, should I go to their office and talk to them in person or would that be too much? I already spoke in person with all of them and all agreed to write the letter. The deadline is Jan15th. Since the LORs are for the university where I'm doing my undergrad they told me it was like an "in house" thing, so they could work on that after the holidays (now :S)
Agh, I'm anxious and worried. What should I do?????????

If you're applying to your own school, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Professors are lazy and grad schools know this. I submitted my apps in 3 weeks before the deadline but 1 of my recommendations arrived 3 weeks after the deadline eventhough I gave them the rec forms months ahead of time...=). Still admitted nonetheless.

Blah2009 is absolutely correct -- except I am not really pleased about the "lazy" accusation. "Unbelievably busy" would be more accurate, IMHO.

I understand that the graduate application process is very stressful, but you are really overreacting.

In this case, your professors are basically writing letters to themselves! They may not even have to use the online registration system. Even if they miss the January 15 deadline by over a month, IT WILL STILL BE FINE.

Ah, Thanks!
I feel a lot more relaxed now. I just finished my statements and pretty much everything else is done, I just need the LORs.

I think two of my recommenders are in the admissions committee, so it is like they are writing it to themselves like Professor X said.

Thanks and wish me luck!
