My grades were so poor and I’m so ashamed of it.

My GPA is around a 3.3-3.4 range, and I am so embaressed of it and I feel like I completly lost hope. Next year, I’m currently not in Speech and Debate anymore and I feel like I won’t get into any UC or Cal Poly. What can I do during my junior year to really step up my game? I’m so scared. Please Help it would be much appreciated.

Your grades are not harvard/stanford averages but I think you can get into some UC schools and probably cal poly. I wouldn’t think that you have a high chance at Berkeley and LA and SD may be a bit Chancy. However, I think you are competitive at SC Merced etc.

To raise your chances (to potentially go to SD or Irvine for example) I would aim for an upward trend, hopefully all A with perhaps a B. Don’t worry too much, you aren’t the top student of the US but you aren’t doing as badly as you may think

There is no reason to lose hope for a good college. There are hundreds of good colleges in the United States. Start studying for your standardized tests and continue to do the best you can. Your grades are not bad.

Keeping in mind UCs ignore Freshman grades, your grades aren’t horrible right now. That one C, along with the Bs, may prevent you from Berkeley, but everywhere else is still a strong possibility.
