I am so glad we have a Millikin thread now.
D and I visited Millikin last April and saw A Chorus Line as well as met with some faculty and students. It seems like a great program and the students we met and talked with seem very happy there.

Thanks for adding Millikin to the MT forum. It is a great program that has been overlooked!

Daughter has just spent the day at Millikin. It's a beautiful day on a beautiful campus. she audited classes all day and was very impressed with the students and the faculty. we toured again and it reaffirmed how great the facilities are as well. tonight we see a rehearsal of RUTHLESS. she is also very excited about next year's season. THE SPITFIRE GRILL is one of her most favorite musicals! She is happy to say that Millikin is for her and she will be attending in the Fall. Whew!

DD, I smiled when I read your post about the beautiful day on a beautiful campus because we visited during snow storms and bleak days. I'm looking forward to orientation so I can see the 'real' Millikin campus! The pictures on the website look beautiful - so different from our experience at the time.

Our best news is that her classmate from high school also chose Millikin so they'll be rooming together. The roommate is a music theory major so they won't have a lot of classes together which should help with their living arrangements. A third classmate is also attending but they didn't socialize much here so they don't expect that to change down there, but who knows?
