Low ACT, High GPA

Hey,

I have a low ACT score (21) and a high gpa (96.22) what are my chances of getting into a good college?

So far the colleges on my list are:

CUNYS:

  • City College
  • Brooklyn College
  • Lehman College
  • Queens College

Others:

  • Columbia (HEOP)
  • NYU (HEOP)
  • Fordham
  • Wagner
  • St. John’s
  • Manhattan College
  • College of Mt. Saint Vincent

I know some colleges on my list might be a stretch with my scores and all. I guess I just want to know if I have a chance into getting into any of the ones listed above.

My son is in the same boat–ACT scores have been between 21 and 25 when taken at different times. WGPA 3.76. Not sure where to tell him to start looking.
