Low GPA but 2200 SAT. Please chance me

I didn't put too much effort in school during my freshman and sophomore years and have a pretty low GPA because of that. I had a 3.1 freshman year and a 3.2 sophomore year (Unweighted). However, I turned everything around in Junior year and got all A's and A+'s. This year (Senior) I'm taking 4 AP Classes and will maintain a 4.0 until my transcript is closed in November.

Freshman year - 2.8 (Two honors classes in math and biology)
Sophomore year 3.2 (Two honors classes in math and chem)
Junior year - 4.0 (3 honors classes in math, physics and computer science and APUSH)
Senior year - 4.0 (4 AP Classes. Computer science, Gov&Pol, Calc BC, Physics C)

My cumulative GPA comes out to be a 3.5, I only rank 47th out of 180 in my class (cometative roman catholic school in Central, NJ)

2200 SAT - 800 Math, 720 Writing, 680 Reading. (12 on essay) (I studied HARD for these, spent an average of 2 hours a day for 7 months straight)

no one gives damn if your school is “competitive” (how would you even accurately know that unless you can point out state rankings?)

gpa and high school transcript is more important that SAT’s in my book. cornell will definitely be a tough reach. but you didn’t give my info

Seeing that huge grade trend and 2200 SAT, I think that you’ll get into all of them. =)

Do you have any extracurricular activities?

Cornell’s going to be a reach, despite the increasing trend. NYU’s a low reach/high match. Likely in at Villanova and Loyola.
