Low GPA but High SAT

Hi friends!
I’m currently a senior and trying to apply to colleges and I was looking for some advice. I have a super low gpa (around 3.3) and have gotten some really low grades in classes my worst being a D+ in Calc AB. I’ve also taken a ton of hard classes (5 APs, 2 Honors not counting senior year 4 APS which I KNOW I wasn’t motivated for okayyyy). I have straight As this year but might get 1 B. Anyway I also have a pretty high SAT- 1510 and 1530 superscored. I also have pretty good extracurriculars- 2 internships (one research), 2 jobs, track, various clubs I’m VP of two of them and a few awards here and there. I was just wondering are there any schools that will forgive my low grades or? I know other people must be in a similar situation! Any schools/ advice would be appreciated I don’t really have an excuse other than the fact that I was lazy. Thanks!

Schools don’t “forgive low grades” but they do look at your entire transcript. Here is a thread about students in your GPA level:

Use your GPA to find your match and safety schools, but obviously put a few reaches on your list too. Most schools want to see the whole package and there wont be a way around the GPA. You’ll have plenty of options though!
