Self Study; Mathematics, for the past four years
Tutoring in college prepatory mathematics at a local community college, for about a year</p>

<p>Your GPA is fine especially if you are ranked top 10%. Great SAT score but I think most of the schools on your list are reaches except maybe UCLA and NYU, which I’d probably consider matches, because your extracurriculars look kinda weak. Make sure you have a safety.</p>

<p>Have you done any math summer programs? Those can count as ECs.</p>

That will play a crucial role for all these universities if you intend to major in math.
UCB and UCLA = be careful with the essays.

<p>Yeah the courses you took for last 3 yrs are really important, especially in math and science.
GPA isn’t that low though. 3.5 is low.
Do you have any else EC? i think you are committed in your job but you could have done more unless you ddin’t have time enoough to do more then tutoring.</p>
