So I am an accepted student with an awesome scholarship who is considering Hollins. I saw that the freshman retention rate is less than 70%… compared to many other schools I’m looking at, who have rates of > 90%. Why this low number?
Honestly, there’s not much good to be said about the freshman retention rate at Hollins, other than to suggest that it is probably something Hollins itself is working on improving. However, the college does relatively better in their graduation rate of 60%. Of those freshman who continue, most graduate. So that’s positive. Congratulations on your scholarship!
