Low Subject Test Scores?

(don't worry, this isn't like my last thread)

Got a 640 on physics, and a 680 on M lv 2. Got a 2150 on SAT I.

(1) I saw something in a post from febr 2009 of something to the effect that if you only had a limited exposure to physics then you should email them. I put in my application that I took half of ap physics but didn't specifically say "last year." But the course is listed for 11th grade. Should I email them that I took it last year?

(Question 2) I got an A in the half of ap physics I took; I got a 5 on AP Calculus BC; I also got a 5 on AP English. Consequently, would that make up for the low sat physics, a low math lv 2 score, and a low writing section score??

(Question 3) Everything else, rank, gpa, ec's, recommendations, essays, etc. are all very good. I am aware that MIT doesn't value scores heavily but are the scores, the subject tests scores in particular, a dealbreaker?

I think it’s more that higher scoring students tend to have the qualities that make them more likely to succeed at MIT. In that manner, higher scorers are also more likely to be admitted. If you think your personal qualities outweigh your so-so test scores, then you have as fair a chance as anyone at admission.
