So my Unweighted GPA (Not including Senior Year) is a 3.72, Weighted GPA is 4.22. My rank is 29/721, putting me at the top 4%. Will my Unweighted GPA count against me, and will my (Kind of) High Rank help? My dream school is dartmouth, so i hope they account for my rank.
Your GPA is only one aspect of your application, and I think that your rank demonstrates your school is academically tough. While it may not be enough to get you into Dartmouth, I don’t think it means a certain rejection either.
Thanks for answering. I know that GPA is one of the most important factors, so i wanted to know how much of a disadvantage i would have compared to other students.
they don’t really care about your gpa. they care about the grades you get in the classes you take if that makes any sense. In my school, people get into Cornell with 3.6 gpas sometimes (esp if you are a URM)
