If my school has a low yield rate (many people get into UW Madison but very few go if any) does that decrease my chances? I am from South Florida and I love UW Madison!
Probably not. SimplY Make sure that the school knows you are interested.
So- many who apply get accepted but few attend. Looks like no problem for you. UW does not seem to play games with trying for higher yields. Definitely write essays that show your interest (as well as answering the question). In the past there have been some threads here where a poster states they had high stats but wrote blah essays and did not get in.
