Loyola College chances?

hi okay so i know it is very unlikely for me to get in here but i'm just wondering if there is any chance in hell lol?

-interviewed and it went really well if that counts for anything

-brand new high school, i'm the first graduating class, you need to test in, very competative, all classes are taught honors, just like MAGNET

2.9 or 3.0 unweighted ( i could hav a 4.0 at a normal high school)

1670 on new SAT

senior 3 AP classes, all honor classes all 4 yrs (becuz of the high school)

-crazy amounts of good extracurriculars that i hav office positions on and state-wide awards for such as newspaper editor

-3 state-wide community service awards for Skills USA or VICA

-varsity basketball and been with job as asst. manager for 3 years

any opinions?? also worried about delaware/northeastern..
got into school already but these r ones id love to go to

Loyola Chicago or Loyola New Orleans?

I believe he is talking about Loyola Maryland.

oh, wow. i didn't even know there WAS a Loyola Maryland... how many are there?!

...and sorry, can't help then..i know people at the 'Orleans and Chicago ones, but meh.

yep its Loyola College Maryland

its ok iheartpacman thanx

anybody get in? get rejected? know anything..

oh nyjets10 i'm a girl lol

hey,
I was accepted in the "early admittance" phase in december. I really think that it is a wonderful college in a great location. I think you have a shot. I really don't know actaully (like most people on here). I'm sorry for the gender confusion. lol

hmmmm anyone else have any opinions? also applied to UMASS . Udel . fordham . rutgers and havnt heard anything yet.. anyone know anything about those?

I doubt you would have a 4.0 UW GPA at any other school, considering you're SAT is 1670.

you have no idea what my school is. thanx bye. you're really helpful though! not.. anybody with anything that might help me out would be appreciated =)

yeah how do you figure that you would have a perfect GPA somewhere else?

ANYWAYS, i think you're in at Umass. I don't know anything about loyola or delaware....northeastern is a reach for you but its attainable. Your SATs are low but HEY, my cousin got in Dartmouth with a 1300 on the old SATs and my friend got in Hopkins with a 1650ish. Neither of them had legacies/URM/donations, but their essays were great.

so my point is: if your essays were good you have a chance at northeastern

a 1670 on the SAT and a 4.0 gpa just isnt...possible...sorry

1670/2400? kinda low...

I'm sorry but you just sound sort of pretentious when you say, "Oh, I'd definitely have a 4.0 at any other school." I mean it'd be ok if you had like a 2400 SAT, but when your SAT is just plain average, you just can't say that.

thanx kell bell

yeah i kno my SAT is average and so is my gpa, i'm not saying i'm outstanding or anything- just hopeful to get into a decent school and was looking for some opinion.. yes 4.0 was quite sarcasticly stated i was just trying to bring out the point that my school is pretty insane..the valedictorian has a 3.5

well anyway..i visited university of delaware today and now have my heart set on going there
