Loyola Marymount Early action fall 2016

@CAMidwestMom The application under review is still there but on the main page on the left under Applicant Announcements It says Ready to tell us if you will be coming to LMU. I clicked on that and it says on that page Accepted Applicant Announcement. So hopefully that means he is in.

I read your post so I checked my D16’s portal and it has the same changes. I’m hoping that’s a good sign!

where do we get the portal username and passowrd?? i applie EA

We received an email with the portal info about a week or so after my d16 sent in her app.

did you apply with the lmu app or the common app?

my student portal also shows the changes. Is there anyone whose portal is the same?

I applied EA to LMU on 11/1. I got the email saying my app was under review, and my student portal just changed. Is that a good sign?

mine says application under review still

mine still says application under review but the portal and tabs changed

how did it change?

I did not receive a myPaws account yet. I applied in late October through the Common App. I have received an email saying that my application is complete. I just have no portal or anything so i can’t check my status.

if i applied through common app, will i have a portal account?

@abch18 I don’t know. I am in the same boat. I applied EA through the common app and haven’t gotten a MyPaws portal thingy yet.

@JAM135 Ahh i see, well i guess we both just have to wait for the letter haha, best of luck!

@abch18 @JAM135 I used common app, I’ve been using my portal from email.

@aquareef1130 Did you get this portal from an email the sent you?

@JAM135 yes

@JAM135 I applied 11/1 and got an email 11/17 with subject line “Important Information About Your LMU Application”. In it was the myLMU login info.

@JAM135 You actually don’t need the email to set up your portal. I will copy and paste the info from the email.

Thank you for applying to Loyola Marymount University! We appreciate your interest and are grateful for the confidence in LMU that your application represents.
Now that you are officially an LMU applicant, I want to introduce you to MyLMU - LMU’s one-stop online community. MyLMU serves as your daily online destination for everything LMU. As an applicant to LMU, you can use MyLMU to access two very important and useful tools, MyPAW and MyAID.
MyPAW is your Personal Account With the Admission Office, and you can use MyPAW to monitor the status of your application and receive announcements from the Admission Office. MyAID is your financial planning tool, and the Financial Aid Office will use MyAID to communicate with you about the financial aid process and any financial aid or scholarships you receive.
If you enroll at LMU this year, your use of MyLMU will expand to include access to university services and information, including your university email, calendar, news, events and much more. You will also use MyLMU to register for classes, to sign up for on campus housing, to request parking permits or to just catch up on your favorite news feed or sports scores.
Here is how you create and activate your MyLMU account:
Click on MyLMU, located on the www.lmu.edu webpage at the top right or by going directly to MyLMU.
At the MyLMU login page, click on Reset Your Password.
Enter all information requested on the screen.
Please use the first name and last name that you used on your LMU application. You will need the last four digits of your Social Security Number. If you did not provide a Social Security Number on your application, the system will not recognize this, and you will need the last four digits of your LMU ID instead. Your LMU ID number is 931782412.
Once completed, click Confirm Identity.
Your username will be displayed: You will need this to login.
Create and confirm your password and click on Set My Password (password must be at least 8 characters and have one capital letter and one numeric character to be valid).
Login to MyLMU with your username and password. Look for Systems Login on the menu bar at the top of the page. Click there, and MyPAW and MyAid will appear in a drop down list. Click MyPAW and you will go directly to your account - no further log in will be needed, this time or in future visits.

@anothermuggle Thank you. I have only gotten an email saying that my application is complete on 12/6 but i applied on 10/27 so i don’t know why i didn’t get that email for myLMU login.
