Someone on another website posted the following information, on the question of how someone in LSA can declare CS major:
They just increased the GPA minimum to 3.2 because so many people have been trying to declare CS. You need to have taken eecs 183, at least one calculus class, and at least one physics class in order to declare.
I cannot find this information online anywhere! The official information (which does say it is only up to summer 2017) says:
you need a 2.5 or higher among 203, 280, Calc1 and 2. EECS 183 isn’t counted in the GPA.
Has anyone else heard about the 3.2 GPA requirement (possibly going in effect for someone starting Fall 2017) . Is it for being able to sign up for EECS 203 and EECS 280?
