LSAT as a sophomore

I am transferring, but cannot start at my new school until January, and will be taking classes at CUNY Hunter in the meantime. I am thinking that these next 6 months that I'll be at home, without any EC burden, and taking pretty basic classes because I won't have the pre-reqs for anything else, will provide a good time to take the LSAT. I know its early, but I don't think I'll ever have such a long, relatively free time to study (and get a tutor), any thoughts?

if you're scoring where you want to score, go for it. your score only counts for about five years though.

I say go for it. Worst case scenario is you don't do as well as you wanted, in which case you can always study up the summer before your senior year and take the Sept. one, which is what I did. And even then, you'll have some experience with the test by then and know what to expect.
