I’m looking for recs for a great LSAT prep. I live in NYC but would also be open to a video chatting tutor from anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated
More info: I’m aiming for 175+ in order to get into a T14. My GPA is +3.75, and I have pretty good extracurriculars and internships for politics with a strong child safety/health/etc. twist and relevant activities. I’m also black and a woman (I’ve heard that these things matter because there are so few black students applying at all).
I’m a fan of the Manhattan prep series for those aiming for a 17x. They offer online and classes.
And yes, URM is certainly a plus factor. A high LSAT and you would be looking at some serious merit money at several of the T14. (HYS only offers need-based aid.)
I took a Kaplan class and it made a huge difference. It was over 20 years ago, though. There should be plenty of on-site classes in NYC. Whatever you do, spend a lot of time outside of class practicing and otherwise studying for the LSAT. Sounds like you’ve got it together to do great!
