LSE/SAIS/Oxford (Graduate)

Hi everybody,

I am currently struggling to decide between the following options and I am hoping to get some advice from those who have relevant experience or have attended the schools:

MSc in European Political Economy at the LSE (1 year)

MPhil in Politics (European Politics and Society) at Oxford (2 years)

MA in International Relations and International Economy at Johns Hopkins (2 years: 1st year in Bologna, Italy and 2nd year in Washington D.C., USA)

All of them have some components of IR and European politics and LSE and SAIS allow further study of economics, which I find very attractive. I have already completed a BA degree at a UK university thus SAIS seems attractive from this perspective, but am worried that in Europe Oxford by far outshines SAIS in terms of prestige and possible opens up more doors on this side of the Atlantic. I am interested in working for a EU institution, multilateral organisation, think tank or an NGO upon graduation.

All thoughts/tips/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
