Luther College, St. Olaf College and Gustavus Adolphus College

Which one of the the following is the best for biology major?
Luther College
St.Olaf College
Gustavus Adolphus College

What are your stats?
St Olaf is the best if you’re very strong academically, preferably with AP bio and AP Calculus. In addition, it helps to like choral music and the soccer team is better than the football team. Note that it’s a “dry” (really, “damp”) campus.
Gustavus Adolphus would be next, very supportive and academically challenging if you’re a B+/Honors student, then Luther.

I agree. St. Olaf is very strong in biology. Then GAC. Then Luther. I see that you’re an international. My D1’s friend is an international who applied to St. Olaf and GAC. St. Olaf, she received a $10,000 scholarship. I think GAC was more. She’s happily attending Lawrence U. which provided the most aid. You might want to check Lawrence out. Excellent biology department!

You might want to add to your list Concordia College in Morehead MN and Concordia University in Mequon WI. Both are strong in the sciences (both have a cadaver lab) and they offer good aid to internationals.

Thank you a lot. I am Vietnamese. My GPA is 9/10. I am studying SAT at the moment and I hope to make it about 2100

I have some new colleges to look on now. Thanks

what about Berea College and Knox College? Are they good at Biology?

Berea is an excellent college where all students must come from families that make less than $65,000 a year. ONly 5% international applicants are admitted.
Knox is very good but I’m not sure if biology is their strong point.

Oh! Berea College! I really want to go there my family make less than $10000 a year.

Gustavus has the Nobel Foundation connection and the Nobel Conference (Nobel laureates come to campus for a conference every year).
