SAT: 1560 (EBRW 760 / MATH 800)
Weighted GPA: 4.5 out of 4.0 (Maximum for my school district)
Class Rank: 1 (Small-medium class size)

@dwp2001, congrats! They received 663 applicants and admitted 75 this year, so I’d imagine it’s around 11.3%.

Anyone have any advice for deciding between LBW and M&TSI?
rejected. probably bc im a sophmore without sat/act scores
@alpacaaa depends on what you want for the summer. m&tsi is a lot more rigorous as it is a for credit program, while LBW is more chill. I would personally recommend LBW unless you want to go to M&T for college as M&T is pretty specific while LBW’s business stuff can be applied to a lot more things.
My student was waitlisted. Does anyone have an idea of likelihood of getting in off the waitlist? It sounds like one person here who got accepted may not attend. The program said a final decision would come out by May 4, 2018. Thank you in advance for any info.
does anyone know just how rigorous MTSI is? I also got into the Yale Young Global Scholars program for IAS and there’s one week between that and MTSI. I live on the west coast, so there would be a few days in transit as well. should I attend the YYGS program at all, considering MTSI’s rigor? thank you!
@huttens, everything I can find about M&TSI tells me that it’s one of the most rigorous summer programs for high school students… Attendees take two full-length, for-credit college courses (One at Wharton and one at SEAS). Judging from the comments of attendees from past years, getting 3-4 hours of sleep per night is not uncommon.

Also - the acceptance email said “Immediately following your RSVP, Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs (JKCP) will email you regarding accommodations, scheduling, and other logistics.” I RSVPed Monday afternoon and still haven’t received this email; has anyone else gotten it?
Does anyone know if there is a facebook group out there yet for students who are attending this year?
@alpacaaa there is a Facebook group that went out in an email after you pay your deposit but nobody posted anything in it yet haha
@huttens, I just got accepted by M&TSI. How much is the deposit? Need to response in a 3 days. Still waiting from RMP, don’t want to miss M&TSI. Please help to answer.
