<p>So, I am an applicant for Acting and I made two big mistakes.
1) When scheduling my digital audition date, I was careless and selected Acting and not Musical theatre & Acting. By the time I realized, it was too late and all the slots were filled. No choice but to suck it up and really make my monologues count. Which brings me to my second monumental slip up.
2) I submitted the two monologues to SlideRoom, made all the payments, right on time with the deadlines and all. But I mixed up the videos for USC and NYU, so basically, instead of two contemporary monologues, I sent a contemp and a classical one. The classical one came out really well so I'm hoping maybe the quality will be considered despite it not fulfilling the requirements. </p>
<p>Does this mean my chances are totally dead? I feel so irresponsible and stupid and the fact that NYU has so many application fees just adds to my frustration. >:(</p>
