The online decision site says I'm accepted to Yale, and I've started to get all those email invitations to go to a reception and start a profile on the admit website... but I still haven't received the packet.

Is there any reason to be worried?

as a fellow yale acceptee, i don't think you need to worry. i got my packet yesterday (in NC) and it was the last acceptance to come, but i had the same fears as you. try not to worry, it'll come. i really don't think they can make huge mistakes like that.

I decided that I didn't want to check th online decision, and haven't yet. I decided I wanted to wait for the BIG envelope, cuz i like the old school way. But I was wondering though, maybe it is not a very wise decision to take since many of you - who are US citzens- haven't even received the package, how am I - being internationa- going to receive it soon.

So, my question is not whether it should be wiser or not to open the online decision, but rather if anyone has recieevd their package already. If so, when and where are you from.

THANKS A LOT!

Whew, I finally got my packet today (4-5-06), and I'm in California.

Admitted students who checked online are already chatting on the forums, posting facebook profiles, and viewing their financial aid letters. I guess that might be an incentive to check online...

And thanks, volver, for the reassurance. :D
