mailing address

I need to mail my school files (school forms and recommendations) using FedEx. Is this the address of undergraduate admission office?

Office of Undergraduate Admissions
Johns Hopkins University
Mason Hall/3400 N. Charles Street
Baltimore, MD 21218
Maryland, United States of America

yup!!! except u dnt need to write “Maryland” once you’ve already written “MD”
Also, if you’re applying using commonapp then just go to college details and copy the address. I add USA cuz im living in a foreign country but I don’t think you need to do that if u live in the States.
I think it’ll be better if you place “Johns Hopkins University” above “Office of Undergraduate Admissions”.
Don’t worry, it’ll reach there anyways. Oh! If you’re sending it via courier add their phone no. as well. It’s found in the “college details” area of commonapp as well.

This is random, but for some odd reason, most universities seem to have “Office of UG Admissions” above the university name. Any clues as to why? Not that it really matters.

Because no one else in the university wants to look at some lowly high schooler’s crap. There’s an office, an office that admits undergrads. They are the only ones responsible for admitting kids. Is that really such a novel concept?

Here is the way we want mailed items addressed:

Application Coordinator
Office of Undergraduate Admissions
Johns Hopkins University
Mason Hall
3400 N. Charles St.
Baltimore, MD 21218

zakuropanda
In answer to your question, it is typical that mailing addresses first list the name or title of the person the mail is going to (Application Coordinator), then the office (Office of Undergraduate Admissions), and then the business or institution (Johns Hopkins University) - followed by the rest of the address.

And apologies for the rude answer provided by the person above. I guess some people just prefer to be obnoxious rather than helpful.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks! :)
