baseball and golf, but mostly baseball

I did various types of wrestling since elementary school (free-style and judo) but this year decided to drop it. It's just not fun anymore.

I became really interested in parkour and try to slowly move into this -- as they prefer to call it -- sport discipline. Complete newbie as I haven't even started practicing it regularly I am but parkour sounds and feels more and more fun.

Varsity Tennis! :D

cecret cindy - grade 8 - get off this forum - you are too young to worry about college - take it easy

and btw i varsity fence for my school

mr_chipset: yea parkour is pretty awesome, i have a friend whos really interested in it

tennis & golf

XC! I hate track, though.

Varsity soccer and Varsity BOWLING, represent!

Soccer. I play year-round. high school soccer (well, not anymore since I'm a senior) and club soccer. my high school soccer team is a joke though.... luckily my travel team is one of the best in the state...

And to whoever said they run track to stay in shape.... just to let you know, that's actually not good since soccer (i think u said u play soccer too?) and track require totally different kinds of speed. It woudl be better for you to not run track and do soccer drills on your own to get faster.

moonracer-i'm aware i am young.. however there are many ppl going to gr 9 next year that are on this forum... and ps.. it's not like i'm writing on the "real" college board... only the preparatory ones.. which i will be attending next year. I have every right to discuss in these forums!

soccer...and i must make the argument that it is the greatest sport in the world

i mean you cant really compete with > 1 billion fanatics

Racket Sports

I agree with you partly. I think running track to stay in shape can be a good thing in some cases. I personally can not run by my self, only when I am being told to run. So in that situation it is better to do track as I would not be able to really push my self doing soccer drills on my own.

Parkour is sweet, I'm more into tricking though. There arn't enough things around here to do some nice free running... unless you want to run around in the neighborhoods >.<

That and I'm afraid that I'll land on my head when I try an aerial off some object...

Track is nice though. And we won today. That's always a plus.

It happened to some guy. He still lives perfectly.
Anyhow, parkour isn't about tricks.

Oh, I'm sure that it won't result in instant death. Its the prospect of bailing out in the middle that makes me take a second thought.

Tennis. In fact, I'm just back from an away game.

i have been figure skating for over ten years. i skate about 4 times per week and i compete around 5 times per year. its a huge part of my life.

basketball

basketball and baseball.

cecretcindy - im not saying you don't have a right

you can go ahead if you want to

im just saying - that live a little - you know - once u get to ur junior and senior years ur gonna come here anyways

until then dont worry about college admissions - enjoy high school

but if u want to - then come - ur welcome either way
