alright, the more I think about it, the more I change my mind on what I want to go for in college. I originally wanted, and possibly still do, want to be a pediatric oncology nurse. However, I love to write and have a passion for fashion and I think it would be amazing to be a fashion journalist or fashion event planner. Which, in your opinion, would be the better career choice and why??

It sounds cliche, but do whichever would make you happiest. Nobody can tell you which is a better career for you except yourself.

vanilla or chocolate or rocky road?

Who is to say? Each has their benefits and downsides. You should try to survey people who actually do those jobs and guage their job satisfaction. It’s amazing that people in college (or before) don’t actually do this – instead they get caught up in the college brochures and such. But if you’re not in college yet, then it’s the pefect time to test the waters and see which you have a greater affinity towards – you don’t have to decide for quite a while.

I say take T26E4’s advice, but not deeply. Surveying based on job satisfaction is tricky: my mom hates being a doctor, but my friend’s dad would do it for free. I say find out more about what each of your possible occupations does and try to envision yourself doing something like that. If YOU’RE happy, do it. If you wanted to be a doctor and asked my mom how much she likes her job, you would look at a Biology book again, but if you asked my friend’s dad, you wouldn’t stop looking at one. The only one that can answer this question is yourself.

Being a nurse is the better choice. I guarantee that you will have no problem in finding a job especially because nurses are in high demand. Especially in this economy, its better to have a stable job. But just because you become a nurse (if u choose to) doesn’t mean u have to abandon what you originally wanted to do. You can do it as a sideline or something.
