major combining liberal arts with hard science?

ok, so i originally had myself down as a physics major, but now i'm not so sure anymore, since i'm beginning to think that from the 2 years of physics i had in high school, i just really liked the teachers and the class, but not the actual subject

i really like science like biology and chem, but i also like more liberal arts stuff too like philosophy and psychology. are there any good majors that seem to combine both the hard sciences and the liberal arts? i want to also make sure that my major is practical and will get me somewhere

i'm thinking the interdisciplinary "cognitive science" major - i know that cornell has one (going there). i don't know what i want to do after college, even though i tried to convince myself to do law for awhile, i just think it'd be boring. psychiatry seems kind of cool, and that seems to mix the science of medicine with more of the psychology and philosophy of the consciousness, but i really don't know.

help?

bump...........

linguistics definitely does, combining science with social science. plus it has great job outlook, such as for the CIA (although that might not be the route you want to go, ha ha). also, while sociology is only a social science, it does rely heavily on statistics and analysis. although i'd suggest that if you were more of a liberal arts-mathy person.

some schools offer neuroscience, which is also a more sciency-track to psychiatry. although i think congnitive science would be more interesting!
