Okay, here's the situation.

I will be a sophomore this coming fall.

Currently I am a business admin major, I have been thinking lately about life ahead of me, the future and the world as a whole.

I realized that after attending the 2011 grads, that most people had degrees in political science, communication, and econ.

I'm in a dilemma, what should I do?
I want your advice.
I personally love economics, I got all A's in econ classes, it's a piece of cake really.
I also think that having an understanding of political science (government) would even benefit me more.

Here's what I came up with. (vote and explain why?)

Double Major : Economics and Political Science

Double Major : Economics and Communication

Major : Economics / Minor : Computer Science

Major : Computer Science / Minor : Economics

Please help!

First off, don’t base your life decisions off of what majors other people are doing, whether it’s Political Science/Comm/whatever. Second, if Econ is really what you’re liking, then major in it. Don’t change your mind based on whether people might say, “Oh Econ is a bad major, do Accounting or do Comp Sci.”

CS is pretty hard and I would kind of compare it to a Math major in regards to how you learn and how difficult it might be. Try and pick up a book on either Python or Java, see if you can learn the material and enjoy and decide from there whether you want to minor in it. Don’t major in it just because it might have good job placement.

Definitely major in Econ if that’s what you’re passionate about, but I don’t really see the need to double major in Political Science/Comm. Unless I guess you’re specifically trying to get into those career fields, in which case try it out I guess.

WORD. If only most people on this forum realized that…
