Hello, I have to make a decision between attending UCLA or UC Berkeley as a computer science engineer. I was just curious what are the main factors I should focus on when making the final decision. Berkeley ranks 3rd in the nation for comp. engineering while UCLA is around 16th. Are those huge differences? Does anyone know the difficulty of finding internships/ jobs for CSE or even other types of engineering at either school? It seems like Berkeley would be much easier since it is near Silicon Valley and it has much higher prestige in engineering.

Although I am aware that it is personal preference or where I feel most comfortable, but I want a good balance between social life and academics and have a good career after college.
