My son is a high school junior, in all honors and doing well. He is not all that motivated about college and says he would prefer to explore comedy, as in stand up. Does anyone know of a school that would allow him to study comedy while getting his bachelor's in liberal arts?

Thanks!!

There is a Canadian school that has a comedy major. Columbia College Chicago and I think Emerson have classes in comedic writing. Possibly colleges with a good theater department would have comedy acting type classes. Look at school clubs and look for improv and comedy troupes. Lots of colleges have them. Or he can just go to school in a city that has a good comedy culture and study on his own that way.
