So I have a major problem with my common app. I moved schools from Africa to the US after I finished junior year. I moved in august 31 but I didn’t know that I would move earlier. So me, my counselor and my teachers who were all teaching summer school decided to finish my common app earlier, since there was only one counselor, and submitted the recommendations, school reports and all the other stuff. Now I am here in the us and my new school uses Naviance (which is 1 problem), I have a new counselor who needs to submit transcripts and other stuff which are already sumbitted (2nd problem), My teachers alerday sent recommendations(3rd problem), my teachers can’t unsubmit what they submitted (4th problem) and common app help center ain’t responding (5th problem). I asked them if they can disassociate my old counselors reports from my common app.
Anyways sorry for the long post but here is my questions
- Can I make a new common app? (I can change my profile into a fake name, email, address, Nationaly, parents, first year to transfer, change schools… and all the other stuff so that the accounts are different). Since I have an A1 visa (diplomat) I also don’t have a social security no (atleast it did not ask me too) so common app can’t trace my old account to my new one right?
- And how long does common app help center take to help you out. And do you receive your answer through email or common app account? If they can find a solution to this, I would be really happy. I really dont want to start common app all over again.Can common app help my counselor unsubmit his reports and … ? Has anyone experienced this?
