Major

Son accepted EA but letter does not indicate major. Have others' acceptance packages indicated the major?

My D’s acceptance did not indicate major either, but she had to submit a portfolio for her school/major so we are going with the assumption that she was accepted into the program she applied to. I don’t recall Marist being one of those schools that asked you for 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice of school/major so if you applied to a specific school/major I think it is safe to assume you got it if you were accepted. I guess if you are concerned you could have your son/daughter call the school and ask for clarification.

If you were accepted, you have the major you selected. Marist makes it very easy to select and change majors - my D changed her major during the Freshman Orientation, and I remember some of the orientation leaders talking about how many times they changed their major.
