<p>It depends…it has more impact if you are a transfer student. Communications is moderate. If you’re applying as a freshman a 3.7 and up should be fine. As a transfer, a 3.3 and up is very solid.
I’m applying as a studio art transfer, and for me a 3 is competitive, vs. a business transfer who would be competitive at a 3.5 or higher depending on the amount of applicants.</p>
