majors,and papers

Might seem like an odd question but looking to find out some info on different majors such as chem,biology, & theater,which ones are paper intensive as opposed to book work/labs,also looking at school in gerogia.

Well I was a chem major in CA. We had a lot of book work for our lecture courses and lab courses.

We didn't have to write essays or anything, but the lab reports senior year were killer. I'm talking about doing a 2-day experiment and writing a 30pg lab report (due 1 week later) with full introduction to the topic, relevant mathematical equations, explanations of the equations, methods used in the experiment, data from the experiment, detailed calculations, interpretation of the results, references, figures/tables etc. We didn't have lab manuals saying what do to step by step either. We were basically told what the goal of the experiment was & then we had to make our own procedure.

Yeah, neither chem nor bio will be paper heavy as such, but there will be lab reports, which can be painful.

science = labs
arts = papers

There will be readings for both.

Theatre will be largely project intensive and will require hands-on work, although depending on the class, you will likely have some papers that are heavy on analysis and criticism.
