Hi! So I am a current senior in HS and I wanted to ask CC for any advice regarding making up for GPA. I know GPA is really important and accordingly its important for me not to get my hopes up. But, I’ve taken a difficult (in retrospect too difficult) courseload in highschool resulting in my 3.2UW/3.9W. I have a 1480/1600 SAT (760M/720RW) so hopefully, that shows I’m not dumb haha. I am President of 3 clubs (Student Council, Red Cross, and Females United), a Peer Leader, and active participants in 2 more clubs. Anyone have advice/success stories/things to calm me down a little? Thanks!
bump!
A couple of comments:
–Please don’t bump less than an hour after your post. It is appropriate to bump if your post moves to the next page and you are still looking for answers.
–The transcript, including GPA and course rigor, are the most important factor in most college admissions. Focus on schools that match your existing academic credentials. You should have plenty of fine choices.
–If your HS has Naviance that is an excellent tool
@happy1 Thank you! I agree with the bump part- I actually posted bump 4 days later I think you are just looking at the time haha but I know what you mean! Thanks again!
@collegewowie apologies…my mistake
