Man in Ackerman

i haven't seen urban ninja or the boombox guy this year... although my whole schedule is in boelter so i don't get on bruinwalk much which prolly explain why :(

The ninja guy should have graduated ... the boombox guy is either a 4th or 5th year .. or graduated.

There's this homeless looking woman with like an eye patch also "owning" a table in Ackerman...I see her sometimes talking to herself, and if she catches me looking she'll cover her face

hmm. . . bump?

Yeah I know who you are talking about. I've always thought he was just a professor, but you guys think he is a homeless ex-professor? Why is that?

The black man in the suit ... there are threads a few years back discussing him ... minimum donation is $5 ... he won't accept dollar bills ... so obviously something is wrong ...

[/quote]

yeah i offered him $1, and he refused it ... ?

there's also the wheelchair guy, the mississippi state guy, and the old guy who always eats at de neve (probably the same person who sits around the couches in the front desk)

wow he doesn't even take dollar bills now? last year he took my penny :D he must got rich last year (don't you notice how many suits his got?) i seen the wheel chair guy doing laps on bruinwalk and he doesn't want anyone to help him, when you do he'll roll back to where you started pushing so he can get the full training session lol

Can't forget the big Civil Engineering guy with schizophrenia who talks to himself ... at ESUC Lounge and SEAS 4th Floor

There were also a group of black men who sold candy for fundraising at the back step near ENGR 1 / Bus stop / Cooperage. They didn't last long ... so I guess they were not legit.

I think two years ago, there was a Girl Scout troop who sold cookies for $1/box on Bruinwalk .. haha.

Lots of interesting things happening at UCLA.

Haha, girl scouts, that's funny!
Bummer that nobody knows his story. I'm inherently curious about that kind of thing, you know?

The dude with stuff in Ackerman could be the faculty guy that meets with students every week. Unless he doesn't look put together enough. I dunno. I met the DeNeve old guy in the music building sleeping in a chair outside the assistant band director's office. He said he's a faculty-in-residence and that I should have lunch with him sometime in DeNeve. Hm. Never have. He couldn't hear me unless I shouted, also. Which just made everything awkward.

Also, did you notice the guy outside Pauley changed from "Religion is for the weak" to "Philosophy is for the strong"?

I totally see the wheelchair guy everyday... I feel so bad for him... so he's not a student right? even tho he has a backpack..

and yeah I did notice the "Philosophy is for the strong" person.. where did "religion.." go? haha :D

Don't feel bad for wheelchair guy. He seems really cool. He's just exercising.
