I read something on princeton review about a mandatory prayer session/service weekly for all pepperdine students.
is this true? - just curious :)

Every semester, Pepperdine students are required to attend convocation, which covers a broad spectrum of services. There is the Wednesday morning convocation (which includes singing and a speaker), speakers at night on various topics, and 20 minute chapel services in different languages. You can choose whichever ones appeal to you. It is also a grade, so if you go to 14 or more you receive an A, if you go to 13 you get a B and so on. To be honest, it is an easy A that really helps your GPA.

Thanks so much Sammy for the clarification. Do you attend Pepperdine? I haven't spoken with any students who attend the school. I am particularly interested in their journalism program. Any additional information? Thanks! :)

Yes, I am a Pepp student. In fact, I write for our newspaper. I am not a journalism major, so I don't know much about the program, but from those I have talked to it is very strong. They have a completely new communications building that is incredible. That is really all that I know.
