Daniella above applied on Oct 9 and is in NY. She just heard back so maybe that helps you? @aimster888
I think my D will hear around Xmas best case and maybe Jan 15 worse case. It is rather strange how Manhattan manages this process.
Yes, I think we’ll hear very soon as my daughter’s portal also said “decision made” when we checked it after Stem2017 mentioned it. We are upstate, but still NY so should only be a few days (I’d think) from when those in NYC are hearing. @JBSeattle has your child’s (I think you said daughter) portal changed yet? Hopefully you’ll hear soon, as well. ?
Nothing yet in the mail for son, FYI. We’re in Manhattan. Today is day 10 since the portal changed.
Son got his green envelope today we’re in NYC thrilled he got in as well.
Best of luck to all .
Daughter accepted.
gpa: 3.8
act: 28
tons of ec activities
received a scholarship
@fieldhockey123
How much was the scholarship?
@aimster888
As of Friday the portal did not say decision made.
My son applied on November 10th. Still waiting on decision! Hope it comes this week !
@Gus12345
Where do you live? My daughter applied a little after you and seems like it will be awhile.
I live in NY. About 50 minutes from Manhattan College. This waiting is not fun ?
You should hear well before my daughter if that gives you any solace.
Thanks JBSeattle … hopefully we all hear soon … TODAY would be nice ?!!
@Gus12345
We can only hope! I am going to try to have my D check the portal to see if she even has “decision made” status.
@JBSeattle my son’s portal still says in progress.
@Gus12345
My D checked and she said the same thing. All we can do is wait and hope the mail arrives!!
Your right. Have to try and not think about it ??
My daughter got her letter in today’s mail. She was accepted and offered the Presidential Scholarship ($28,400 per year) and I am so proud and thrilled. She was beaming and that was great to see. Hoping you all hear soon and get good news too! ?
I got in! I was offered 29,100 a year!
@aimster888
Would you mind sharing your daughter’s stats and declared major?
Package arrived! Dated 12/13. S19 accepted.
School of engineering.
$24,000/yr merit.
@JBSeattle. She’s planning on molecular biology. She has a 33ACT, overall 95.5 unweighted average with full four years of honors or AP classes. She’s already completed 5 AP classes with four 4’s and one 5 on the exams and she’s enrolled in another 4 AP classes this year. Lots of EC, athletics, service projects and multi-year employment at a summer camp. We are waiting on one more, but are pretty excited about this one! Her older brother also goes to school in NYC so it would be nice.
