Has anyone received a financial aid package/statement from Manhattan…so far my daughter has only revceived

No financial aid package yet.
Our S got a regular merit award then another special engineering merit award came later. Not sure if there are separate awards from other departments that are given out.
Does anyone know what is the highest merit amount Manhattan gives? Do they give full ride or full tuition?
My D got what they called a Trustee award of $36,000 a year, not sure if that’s the highest.
@AndreaLynn Yes, my son also same scholarship and amount.
I don’t expect anything else, we don’t qualify for need based aid.
@AndreaLynn same for us. I was hoping for full tuition. lol…but it is still a generous offer.
My son was excepted about a month for Computer Science. He was offered the Presidential Scholarship of 33k a year. He is waiting on a few other schools. The offer was significant enough to put Manhattan in play. Very curious how the comp sci dept measures up to others in the North East.

@JWalk - sorry, I don’t know. I don’t expect any financial aid so didn’t ask. By the way, Manhattan College updated their website with new scholarships (Trustees and other scholarships are now listed) - I think you previous asked a scholarship related question.

Thanks MisBee! I don’t really expect Financial Aid either, I guess I just would like to see it all in writing and have my daughter make her final decision. She plans on majoring in Civil Engineering. Thanks for the info on the MC website too…I just looked!
@JWalk - My son is majoring in civil engineering too. Have you heard anything on the new engineering building tour that is supposed to happen this spring? They mentioned it when we were there in December.
I haven’t heard anything on the new building… just what I saw on the website. Hope to hear something soon.
Manhattan College is one of my daughters top choices, how about your son?
@JWalk - It is one of his top choices but he wants to wait to hear back from all the schools first before discussing too deeply. Its going to be a long wait, several of the schools have notification dates around April 1.

They have additional scholarship for the different schools. Did anyone receive info on these in the initial award letter?
No, but someone in cc said they receive additional scholarship after the initial award letter from previous years. Let’s hope our kids will get selected for additional scholarships.
