<p>I noticed a few schools say you will be notified "on or before March 10" of the status of your application.</p>
<p>Other schools seem to indicate it will always be AFTER March 10.</p>
<p>Any idea of the reality? DO any schools admit earlier?</p>

<p>Some schools have rolling admission, and let you know as soon as they make a decision.</p>
<p>I think some of the vague language surrounding the M10 notification date is so that the schools have some flexibility. Sometimes M10 is a Sunday, so mail notifications will not arrive that day.</p>
<p>A few schools still do mail only notices, so perhaps they are “in the mail” by M10.</p>
<p>IIRC, NMH “jumped the gun” in a recent year and notified a day or two earlier than most of the M10 schools.</p>
