On the 10-Writing section, was your answer going diagonally down most of the time? And then the 2nd colum I had like A-B-A-B...?

thanks. Also, remember on the very last section (10-writing), the very last problem was tricky because the only way to find the answer was to use active/passive voice differentiation. I think it was between A and B, and i think it was B (Not sure about the lettering)

post the sentence?

glock-

the cr one i was talking about was the photography one

and it was like asking something about how does ancient lodger emphasize something..
ancient lodger is the lady in the picture
and the passage said she was tethered literally and like was trying to avoid the photographer

so i said, since the lady is trying to avoid the camera, she was aware of her status...............
so i put "she was also aware of her status" ish answer...

um...although the hand was literally stated, i don't see how that ties in with ancient lodger

YEAH! Diagonally! I don't remember what came after. I just saw a straight diagonal and was slightly amused... ;)

about that diagonal thing, it was like bcde abcdcb or something like that, basically two distinct diagonal lines except for some conformity at the end of the second.

i think that was the experimental with lots of E's because i had no idea. I just put E......lol. Good thing it was experimental

Thank aquamarinee! I just saw the A-B-C-D then another B-C-D-E ish and then A-B-A-B and I was like O_O....

what was the last q on section 10

anybody got answers from all of the critical reading sections? we should try to compile those.

did anyone else put slight reservations for the founding fathers question? I was sure that was the answer but everyone here seems to be saying passing acknowledgements. someone please explain.

it said: he occasionally nods at him, but overall franklin can do no wrong

or something similar to that

doesn't nods need to contradict that he thought he could do no wrong

HELP

it basically said that the author LOVED franklin and thus doesn't like to talk badly of franklin. however, he can't entirely ignore franklin's faults or else his thing would seem overly biased or not as credible, so he "nods" at them--passing notice.

i was so scared when i saw those two diagonals on my answer sheet. i thought something was wrong lol

so u think slight reservations is too strong?

we should really compile the answers.

guys can someone please tell me the last question on section 10 -.-

does anyone have the energy to compile a list of answers.. cuz tht would be awesome

Did anyone get a CR section where the passage was about how some guy evaluated books when he was young, and he liked to read criticisms more than the actual book? I think this might be experimental cause i had 4 cr passages

i put slight reservations

umm is "slight reservations" referring to the one with also "passing notice" as the choice? because if it is, i put passing notice

yea, it is august's chopin.
