On the Psat she had a 229 (73 CR) so she feels that she can do better. How do colleges look at multiple results - do they average them all together? or look at your top for ea individual test? or take you best day?

Thanks o helpful and knowledgeable ones.
Cheers

I'm really happy with the top two scores, not so much with the last one. On my PSATs and practice tests, I was consistantly doing 60-80 points better on CR than math...so what happened??
I really want to see the score report.

bingle:

Depends on the school. Some "superscore," taking the best of each section from multiple sittings (top CR one test, top math another test). Others take the best cumulative score from one sitting. Make sense? Check the schools y'all are interested in to see their policy.

cookietime i dont see why your "ugh" about getting a 2260.. people on this forum need to lighten up theres more to life than the SAT

tj, click on the link kind of just right and below center that says "summary of sent scores." The breakout is found there.

aah! i didn't go up AT ALL in math from my psat. I really don't want to take it again...

Damn it! I wish I could switch my writing score for one of the other scores. Why did I do well on the section that doesn't count??

M: 740, CR: 800, W: 790

the irony: i hate humanities (and usually suck at it...) and want to study engineering.

so does anyone know why the math curve is so harsh?? i got a 740 and i'm pretty sure i only missed two (stupid mistakes...). if i missed three, then that would actually bring me down four points and no way would minus four give 740. -30 points per question is brutal.

So 1970, not bad but not too hot either. But pretty good since it was my first time and I barely studied(lazy/busy with other stuff :p ) Really wanted a 2000+ or a 700+ on some section. my goal for next time in June!

720 M (Kind of disappointing. It felt really good)

What's funny is that last time I got a 2150 too xD but the scores were distributed differently (690 CR 680 M 780 W)

will we be able to see the questions we got wrong, or just which ones we got wrong and the level of difficulty?

i am utterly shocked by my score.
