gosh all you smarties are making me feel not so smart… lol. @112358, yeah i’d retake just to raise the math score BUT ONLY IF YOU’RE PLANNING TO APPLY TO CALTECH/MIT. otherwise, it’s an amazing score

i dont know why i always do worse in math when it’s my best subject BY FAR… and what one question did i misss???

i cant wait to see my essay comments. one person probably went “your last example makes absolutely no sense…”

Yeah, thing is, I’m not sure Caltech/MIT would be the greatest fit for me… as you can see I really like the humanities as well as mach/sci and may actually be better at them. So I’d probably rather be at a school strong in both.

112358: Yes, you don’t lose 1/4 points if you get a grid-in question wrong. It is counted as an omitted instead, which means you don’t lose any points (but don’t gain some either) :)

CR 600
MA 800
WR 660 (68/8)
= 2060.
Im an Asian immigrant, so im content, but i was expecting 2100+
(I know there are many immigrants out there who scored higher than me, so dont discourage me, please~)

i think i got all the ones that i answered right but i was not able to finish the last section because my calculator went out
But look at my CR it is horrible, makes me wanna cry.

does anyone know if the sat score option applies to the current junior class? or is it not applicable for the junior class applying to colleges this fall?

***, this was my second time taking it and i was expecting at least a 670 on CR and an 800 on Writing. but wth is with math. this test’s math section was IMPOSSIBLE. it shows when i got a 770 on dec. math section. sigh. now i need to make room for the SAT in june.

I think I wanna go to either UCLA or Berkeley, but the reason I’m really trying to do well with the SAT is that my GPA is pretty low compared to their standards. If I’m lucky it’ll be 4.0 weighted after this semester, overall.

I just had a really tough year last year/part of this year, but not so bad that it’s something to write about, and not so bad that it excuses my Bs and Cs, you know? But I don’t want them to think I’m numbers crazy, because I got a 2240 the first time, and 2280 this time.

I just feel really inadequate with every other part of my application, and I hope the SAT shows them that I am competent. Do you think it’s too much, though, taking it 3 times when my lowest score was 2240?
