<p>That is how to calc the base for an OBTUSE triangle that would have been created.</p>

<p>It was a right triangle… the base was along the x axis and the leg was from a point on the x axis to (6,4)</p>

<p>So it was 0? For some reason I remember -1… crap… Anyone remember more of the problem? Maybe the actual value of c was -1. But I think I bubbled correctly…</p>

<p>Drac, was the question asking about the area of ACD or BCD that has to be greater than 5 and less than 9?</p>

<p>monkey - For the triangle one, the height remains the same. The height is not the distance from the base to the highest point. It is essentially saying if this triangle was a right triangle how tall would it be.</p>

<p>JUST TO CLARIFY - 4 works for that problem correct?</p>

<p>Triangle, ABC I believe. It gave you points A(0,0) and B(6,4) and asked for C(0,b) and asked you to come up with the value.</p>

<p>No, it definitely wasn’t, I remember I checked that since I ALWAYS do that by habit with problems involving coordinates.</p>

<p>IF it was, 4 would be incorrect because that would mean the area is 12, outside the range needed.</p>

<p>Does anyone remember a math question about a kid’s height based on his parents’ heights? it gave a graph and his father’s height, and the answer was his mother’s height. I am thinking this may have been one of the math experimentals</p>

<p>Can something explain why the 4x>10 question is 11? </p>

<p>The question (and I definitely remember this) was asking for the LEAST LIKELY answer…I therefore picked A, which was the smallest number because it didn’t work for either inequality.</p>

<p>@GalindatheGood It said what was the LEAST NUMBER that satisfied the equation, and, everybody keeps debating the max/min problem. I read that problem over and over again; there was no trick. It said what is the difference between the maximum and minimum of the NEW function. :confused: I asked a couple more people, and it’s confirmed. I’m almost positive that the answer was, indeed, 6.</p>

so if you dividethe first inequality by two, you get that x has to be greater than 4y
so if 4y is greater than ten, x also must be greater than ten. 4y could equal 10.1, so the integer above that(asked for integer value) was that min value of x is 11</p>

asked what number can be formed by removing one of the dots and bar
and I believe it was 312 by removing the first two and the bar? or 512??</p>

<p>Can someone explain to me how I to do the 2 3 5 with the exponents one? I just set each corresponding exponents equal to each other and solved for each variable and multiplied them together. Came out with 1397 :frowning: Close I guess, but I’m trying to figure out if my method was flawed or if I just made some stupid mistake solving for variables.</p>

<p>between a 780 and an 800. This test is likely going to have a nice curve to it.</p>
