Hi, I just took my SAT today and I heard the release for our score will be on May 10th? Is this true because I heard we generally get our scores back in 17-22 days but this is like 2 months! Is it because that this is a new SAT so they need to adjust the grading and such? I’ll be waiting a whole two months to find out and if I didn’t do as well as I wanted to I’d effectively be wasting that time.
You’re going to have to end up a whole two months waiting to find out your score either way.

Yes, available online starting May 10. They are waiting until after the May 7 administration to release scores. The only consolation is that they moved this up from the originally planned release date that fell after June registration.
@TestRekt do you know why they wait until after may 7? I can’t imagine why they take so much longer than the ACT. Thanks!
@agc2299 It’s not necessarily taking longer to score them, but they are holding the scores back until the New SAT has been administered in May.
It’s a new format and they need more time to figure out how to score it once the results are in. The PSAT scores for this year also took 2.5 months or so.
