March critical reading curve?

Does anyone have an idea of what it was? I missed two reading questions, so I thought I got an 800. But I either missed one somewhere else, or -2 was a 780.

All I know is that I got around 10 or 11 wrong (not exactly sure, so sorry I don’t help too much) and got a 640. From what people estimated I thought 650 max so it was pretty close.

i thiink the curve was ridiculously HARSH

I think -2 questions (which is -2 raw) might have been a 780.

But I guess the CR was easier than usual…? Either way, I’m happy to be done  2330 on my 2nd time. I’m not crazy enough to retake. Grats to everyone who got 800 CR though.

^ No it was the HARDEST ever administered lol. I h8 CR.

For the May test it’s the only thing I’m gonna focus on. (Including Math since I’d like to bring the 700 to a possible 770+ or 800)

^I think the passages were straightforward, unless you had trouble with the vocab.

^ Ya I f’ed up the vocab, ironically sentence completions were easy for me on all the practice tests. It’s time to buckle down with the Barrons 3,500 lol,

I think I got around 6-8 wrong, and I got a 710 in CR.

CR curve was harsh like a Siberian winter

^
Agreed. CR had a lot of unusual vocab.

Also, I’m gonna do what so many people hate - superscore myself to a 2400 or close to one.
Dec - 800 Math, very low other scores(mid 600s) only studied math well
Mar - 800 Writing, 800 Math, Very Very low CR (600) only studied writing well - lucked out in math
May - Only focus on CR and get like 650s on Math and Writing, but get high 700s on CR.

Total: Superscore myself to high 2300s

Most people have made so many complaints about how a person can go in one test day, get 800-200-200, and do the same for the other test dates in different subjects. Just studying one subject makes everything a lot easier.

I guess I’m just exploiting this flaw in the system… :D

But if you send all the scores to a college, they’re going to have that ugly 200-200 there, regardless of your high superscore, no? They’re supposed to disregard those, but that’s a pretty ugly score for one sitting-1200.

I wouldn’t suggest that you do that.

Well by 200-200 I’m saying that one doesnt try hard or study hard for a subject. For me, a 200 is representative of a 650.(It means what I can get without prep and with little effort) I’m not saying to blow the section and not answer anything, just don’t bother spending all of your time studying for it when it can be done at a later time.

College won’t see anything blatantly wrong if they see 600-800 scores. I agree that 200 would look disastrous though.

^I wouldn’t try to superscore like that. Admissions officers will be influenced by the multiple retakes and 600 scores. It’s not hard to see that you’re abusing the system.

I want to know what I missed on CR, but I believe we don’t receive a QAS this month…?

@Espeon: Nope, it’s just SAS for March.

On-topic: I didn’t mind the CR section on this test actually. I maybe got 2-3 wrong (not sure yet; I’ll find out April 6th) and pulled off a 780.

I also scored a 780 on CR. I thought I missed two, which is usually an 800. If I missed 3, that would be -4 raw, which is usually 770. I’m mostly curious, but I guess I’ll find out on the 16th.
